Amy is the CEO and founder of Eads Educational Consulting. Born and raised in Center City Philadelphia, she attended St. Peter’s School during her grade-school years, transitioned to The Shipley School in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, and earned a Master of Education from the University of Pennsylvania. Amy is a seasoned educator and administrator with over two decades of experience in teaching, admissions, and student placement and brings a unique blend of academic expertise and interpersonal skills to her work. Amy specializes in navigating families through educational mazes, leveraging her deep understanding of student needs, educational assessments, and school admissions. As Associate Director of Admissions at both The Shipley and Benchmark Schools, she honed her ability to assess applicants, understand “best-fit,” develop outreach initiatives, and foster meaningful relationships with families. Amy has taught at University City High School and Friends’ Central School and her career includes years of coaching and advising, as well as teaching French, science and linguistics. She is committed to supporting students and families through critical educational transitions.
